eBay I want to clear some space on my shelves, so I need to part with some of my collection. The Panzer IV chassis was produced in tremendous quantities and used for not only tanks, but for assault guns, tank-hunters, self-propelled guns and many other specialized variants. The Jagdpanzer IV L/48 was designed as a replacement for the StuG III (over the objections of Heinz Guderian who felt the StuG III was fine). It shared many of the same attributes (low profile, reliable chassis, powerful anti-tank gun) as the StuG III & IV so it was kind of redundant. Hundreds were produced in the L/48 and the larger L/70 variants and served well at the end of the conflict. I only found two listings for this kit on eBay (one from Germany and the other opened), but as a Top Rated Plus US Seller, I have it in stock and can reliably ship this kit very quickly. Here is some of the info I found about this hard-to-find kit from around the web: The Dragon Models site no longer has a listing for this classic kit and their listings for newer versions of the kit don’t have much information about the features. Scalemates.com has a listing that shows this is a 1996 tooling that has been the basis for about a dozen releases across the Dragon, Revell and Gunze Sangyo brands over the years. There is a link to download the complete 8-page instruction set and painting guide. There are several links to reviews, resources and many galleries of photos of completed Jagdpanzer IV projects. Ray Mehlberger published a useful In-Box Review on the indy-amps.weebly.com site that starts with a history of this vehicle and its specifications. He gives a thorough inventory of the contents and then provides blurry photos of each sprue. He offers no opinions or insights, but in the end, he simply says: “Highly recommended.” CPR Classic Plastic Review created a quick (3-minute) unnarrated Unboxing Video on YouTube that begins with the instructions. The photo montage continues with sprues and close-ups of key parts. The last shots are of the small decal sheet (that includes markings for a Syrian Tank Regiment from 1954) and the impressive box art. This kit is in a lovely, sturdy box about 15” x 9.5” x 3”. The image shows a vehicle with Zimmerit, but the kit does not come with Zimmerit coating. As you can see from the pictures, the package is pristine and still sealed with tape strips, so it is factory sealed and absolutely gift-ready. This item contains one complete injection molded plastic model kit with hundreds of grey plastic parts, including individual track links and a small set of decals. It requires cement and paint to complete as shown. I use eBay Managed Payments, but I no longer ship internationally.
