Everybody, including us, loves Casio G-Shock watches for their build quality and strong functionality. But they are a bit boring and as a result lots of people modify them in a variety of ways. In our humble opinion, most of these modifications are not particularly well done. And most of the time they are done on the bigger references of G-Shock watches and look far too large on all but the largest of wrists. So we felt compelled to do things a bit different. First, we are only (for now) focusing on the 42mm Casio G-Shock references. And we think when done wonderfully, nothing pops like a full “Tiff blue” waffle dial over extraordinarily well done brushed full bracelet in stainless steel. The dial and indices are hand painted, with multiple applications or layers, exacting construction and rigorous quality control on stuff like uniformity and accuracy of the hand-painting before being deemed “awesome.” Similar exacting effort and processes have resulted in a fantastic brushed full stainless steel bracelet and case. There are cheaper Casioak mod efforts out there. Totally fine if that is how you want to play it. Please do not look here for your budget Casioak. Of course we are bringing the best value on the internet because we tirelessly source our inventory and inspect very closely upon receipt for quality and authenticity. We are extremely thorough in our listings and we still absolutely encourage questions regarding the timepieces. If you have questions regarding the specifications, provenance, history, etc., no problem. Just ask if you have a question! The condition of this watch is as follows: New but note that any modified Casio G-Shock no longer has the Casio warranty intact. Casio G-Shock’s however are reknowned for their build quality and durability. This is not the one that you take to the “Tough Mudder” but rather to the awesome new bar or restaurant and welcome the many enquiries and discussions about this cool timepiece. This is an impressive anadigit quartz watch with a fantastic bracelet. We believe that this is the most visually appealing Casio reference to modify and for now this is the only version we plan on making. Because we only want timepiece customers who are delighted with their purchase, we strive to add some additional insight to help you make a great timepiece decision. With that in mind, some additional considerations about this watch include: 1. This watch is thin in profile but large at 42 mm. I can recommend this watch for somebody with a wrist size of 14.5cm in circumference and larger. I have an average size wrist and can pull this look off as can my wife. This is a great unisex watch. 2. The interesting case construction, with the “full Tiff blue” dial make the watch “pop” — it is an impressive, elegant and very much “luxury baller” statement. Not easy or cheap to do it this well. 3. Truly excellent bracelet which you will easily adjust to really fit well on your wrist (from around 6 inches small to 7+3/4 inches large). It feels light yet substantial and well anchored on the wrist. The integrated bracelet is simply beautiful and I love the execution of the fine brushing on our model. Not easy or cheap to do it this well. 4. And of course we adding premium boxing with our own Dr4industries flair to round out the package. Hopefully you love the case, boxing and paper as much as we do. We may slightly improve the packaging (e.g., some sort of Dr4industries branding) as we look to do more of these in the future now that we have our processes down. 5. This is a kind of test the market initial piece. I suspect that the subsequent pieces will sell for a little more but we wanted to discount this first one and hopefully get our first satisfied customer and all important feedback on the effort from our first buyer. We do not offer a warranty but will work with you to make any post-purchase repairs via advice on where to go and what to do (with no profit for us but paid for by you). Everything we sell is working fine for all functions when it leaves our facility (or more specifically the safe deposit box where our watches reside). In some cases, we can go back to our source and get the watch repaired for free based on our relationship and reputation.
